Challenge: The CEO of a Series A startup needed a compelling and authentic thought leadership piece to attract future investors.
What I Did: Interviewed the CEO, crafted a strategic narrative, and collaborated closely on feedback and revisions.

Mariposa Consulting Group's Fall 2024 Email Newsletter
Challenge: A consulting firm wanted a concise and engaging newsletter, crafted entirely from a series of voice memos sent by its leadership.
What I Did: Translated voice notes into a polished email that reflected the CEO’s voice while explaining services and strategy.
Results: Received an 82% open rate and became a repeatable format for future outreach with partners and clients.

Eisenmann Architecture Website
Challenge: A growing architecture firm was stalled on launching a complex custom site, with 65+ SEO pages stuck in a clunky WordPress build.
What I Did: Took over end-to-end, restructured and rewrote every page, clarified messaging, and drove the project to launch.
Results: Within five months, the firm doubled its ranking keywords and reached the first page for key regional searches like “Berkeley architects.”
EDITORIAL STRATEGY
Challenge: Build a content engine from scratch for a B2B Insurtech company with no web traffic.
What I Did: Created the blog strategy, wrote and edited content, and optimized all posts for SEO.
Results: Scaled blog traffic from 0 to 2.4M annual views and achieved 22,000 No. 1 ranking keywords on Google.

What I Did: Co-wrote and edited the case study with Hourly’s PR team, contributing structure, content, and polish.

Challenge: A Series A startup wanted to honor their late co-founder with a piece that was heartfelt but aligned with the company’s voice.
What I Did: Interviewed the CEO and Shay’s wife, then wrote a tribute that balanced empathy with clarity.

How I Accomplish Marketing goals
01. Set the Bar
I start by understanding a company’s objectives, which can include increasing engagement from key stakeholders, boosting organic traffic, supporting a product launch, building a brand identity and authority, or something else entirely. Then, I collaborate closely with marketing, product, and leadership teams to define clear KPIs and set the content strategy.
02. Craft With intent
Next, I manage the content process—researching the right channels and topics, assigning work, editing content and/or writing the content myself, and publishing on specific platforms. I’m comfortable ghostwriting for execs, optimizing for SEO, and translating complex ideas into accessible email or web series.
03. Measure and Grow
Once content is live, I track performance and pull insights to inform what’s next. I’ve scaled content programs from scratch, grown blog traffic to 2.4M+ annual visits, and ranked for 22,000+ #1 Google results, but I’m always testing, refining, and evolving the playbook.
